The project goal is to enhance accountability in and oversight on budget formulation and the implementation of transparent and accountable management of public finances. It is achieved through the following objectives: improving the quality of the Audit Report produced by the Chamber of Control; engaging directly with government officials to provide them with analysis of accountability problems identified in the Audit report and lobby them about taking action to improve the comprehensiveness of the Audit Report; for donors making their technical assistance to the government more targeted towards transparency in Public Finance Management (PFM) reform, and enable CSOs to have access to information relevant to their activities.

Expert discussion on public procurement audit

Transparency international Anticorruption Center (TIAC) held an expert off the record discussion on July 30, 2015 to present a draft "Guide on Public Procurement Audit," produced by TIAC. During the discussion Artak Manukyan, TIAC Public Procurement Expert introduced the initial version of the guide developed by him. The event brought together representatives of the Chamber of Control of Armenia (including its three Board members) and GIZ Office Armenia, which supports Chamber of Control’s capacity development. As a result of the discussion it was decided to amend the guide and to submit it to stakeholders.

Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) held its consecutive Board Meeting on December 17, 2014.
