Monitoring of Urban Development in Yerevan City
The purpose of the project is to improve urban development practices, particularly with respect to the protection of public parks and architectural monuments. It intends to study the legislation and practices related to concrete cases and develop recommendations for policy change. The project is designed to contribute to the larger watchdog efforts of the organization aimed at effective management of public assets.

TIAC representative eventually managed to partake in Yerevan city council meeting
Transparency International Anti-corruption Center (TIAC) has applied to Yerevan municipality ever since April 2010 with a request to ensure its representative's participation in the council meetings, based on the principle of public access to city council meetings, stipulated by Article 29 of the Republic of Armenia Law on Local Government in Yerevan City. Nevertheless, TIAC representative's efforts to take part in any of the council meetings were doomed to failure based on various excuses brought by Yerevan municipality.
