Within the framework of the “Akanates” observation mission, we conducted a one-day training course for regional coordinators of short-term observers. The main purpose of the meeting was to prepare the coordinators for managing the short-term observers involved in the upcoming electoral processes and to equip them with the necessary tools.

The participants received detailed instructions regarding their core responsibilities, ranging from the recruitment and deployment of observers during the pre-election phase to organizational and security-related issues on voting day.

The role of regional coordinators is important for the effective organization of work with observers in the regions, as well as for ensuring compliance with the unified principles and code of ethics of the observation mission.
