Description
The purpose of the assessment is to assist the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Corruption Prevention Commission (CPC) in improving the performance of the preventive anticorruption body. The objective is to evaluate the CPC's compliance with the requirements derived from the UN "Convention against Corruption" and the principles set out in the Jakarta Declaration, and to present recommendations aimed at enhancing the establishment and operational effectiveness of the structure.
The assessment of the CPC was conducted using the anticorruption agency performance assessment tool developed by the Secretariat of the Transparency International, which is based on the Jakarta principles.
