Supporting Armenia’s CBD COP Presidency and Domestic Implementation

The project aims to improve governance of biodiversity in Armenia with a high inclusion of civil society in environmental decision-making by:

• preparing for and supporting the Armenian government's COP presidency
• support and monitor Armenia's domestic implementation of its National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP)
• increase the involvement of Armenian civil society in protection of biodiversity as well as its participation at COP-17
