On March 1, 2015 parliamentary elections were held in Estonia. Lena Nazaryan, Project Coordinator of Transparency International Anticorruption Center was invited from the Open Estonia Foundation to monitor the elections. Observers from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine had opportunity to visit the precincts and observe summing up of electronic elections. Lena Nazaryan addressed Electoral Code in Estonia, the peculiarities of electoral system in Estonia, its difference from the Armenian one, its instructive experience for Armenia. Artur Avtandilyan, Communications Coordinator of TIAC spoke about this and other issues with Lena Nazaryan.

Before election observation Lena Nazaryan participated in a number of seminars on February 27-28 on Estonian election and political system, campaigning for Parliament, “E-voting an essential part of Estonian e-services”, analyzing e-voting in different countries (Switzerland, USA, Finland, UK, Russia, Kazakhstan); comparison to Estonian experience, planning election monitoring and seminar on methodology.
