Call for forum theater scenario submissions
Transparency International Anticorruption Center NGO announces forum theater scenario competition. The scenarios submitted for competition shall reflect the problems in Armenias electoral system and aim to change voters attitude and conduct by creating intolerance of vote buying, misuse of administrative resources and electoral fraud.
The winner of the competition will receive a prize - HDR-CX190E Camcorder.
The plays submitted will be judged on the following criteria. They shall
- be written in Armenian,
- strictly meet the genre specificity, rules and forms of forum theater,
- not be previously staged,
- be one-act,
- not exceed 10 printed pages,
- be intended for 20-25 minute performance,
- include no more than four characters,
- require small size scenery and stage accessories,
- contain some elements of humor.
The submitted play shall be the property of the author who created it and not infringe the copyright of other people (the organizer of the competition shall bear no responsibility for infringing copyright of any person. Motifs of well-known works may be used, however taken separately, they will be new and meet the competition requirements. By submitting his/her work the author shall give the organizer a right to stage the play, make certain corrections and modifications in staging process, as well as organize its unlimited performances both in Yerevan, Armenias marzes (provinces) and beyond.
The competition is open for up to 35-year-old young people.
Entries submitted to competition will be assessed by a jury of professionals. Jury members for forum theater competition announced within “Time to Wake up” anticorruption campaign are
