Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Executive Director and Artak Manukyan, Procurement Expert of Transparency International Anticorruption Center participated in a Workshop on applying the standard for openness and transparency in public procurement for local Ukrainian self-government authorities in Lviv, Ukraine on October 24-25.

After opening speech of Lviv Mayor memorandum was signed between Lviv and Transparency International Ukraine on applying the standard for openness and transparency in public procurement. The workshop brought together representatives from Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Czech Republic to conduct analysis of public procurement, including policy of public procurement system openness in their respective countries. Varuzhan Hoktanyan presented the situation in Armenia. Artak Manukyan addressed public procurement in Armenia during a press conference.

Anrii Marusov, Head of Transparency International Ukraine Board presented the standard for openness and transparency in public procurement for local Ukrainian self-governing authorities. While Oleksii Khmara, Executive Director of Transparency International Ukraine addressed practical issues of applying the Standard for openness and transparency in public procurement by municipalities.
