Focus on anti-corruption in Armavir meeting

The ninth meeting within the scope of UNDP "Strengthening Awareness and Response in Exposure of Corruption in Armenia" was convened on June 22 in the town of Armavir, Armavir province. CRD/TI Armenia NGO Chairwoman Amalia Kostanyan shared the key findings of the organization's impartial and complex exploration on corruption perception in Armenia in 2006 with government officials, various organizations interested in prevention of corruption, as well as NGO and media communities.

Among the meeting participants were Armavir Deputy Governor, representatives of Armavir town municipality, Primacy of Armavir Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Armavir Center for Organizing Youth Activities non-profit governmental organization, Armavir Water Users Association, Armavir Development Center, Armavir Medical Center, UNDP Anti-Corruption Group, "Ararat" University of Armavir, French University in Armenia, Yerevan State University, Armavir School #1, "Alt" television and many others.
