Upon materials prepared on Transparency International Anticorruption Center NGOs report Yerevan City Investigation Departments Central Investigation Division of RA Police General Department of Investigations refused to initiate criminal proceedings and conduct criminal investigation against former Chief Architect of Yerevan City Narek Sargsyan on grounds that proof of the corpus delicti is lacking in Narek Sargsyans conduct.

It should be reminded that based on the application of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center filed to RA Prosecutor Generals Office, materials were prepared in Yerevan City Investigation Departments Central Investigation Division of RA Police General Department of Investigations. They refer to exposing conflict of interest situation and abuse of official authorities or misfeasance with regard to direct involvement of Narek Sargsyan, former Chief Architect of Yerevan in Yerevan City Center construction that resulted in destruction of monuments of history and culture.
