“Transparency International Anticorruption Center” public organization (hereafter TIAC) announces a job opening for Grants Manager who will be responsible for the overall administration and oversight of sub-grants of the organization. The Grant Manager will directly report to Program Director.

Job responsibilities:

  • Overall administration and oversight of sub-grants awarded by TIAC;
  • Development of sub-grant announcements, collection of applications and organization of review for sub-grant selection committee;
  • Preparation of sub-grant contracts and reporting forms;
  • Monitoring of sub-grant administration, collection and analysis of financial reports in compliance with terms of sub-grant agreement, as well local legislation, donor and TIAC requirements;
  • Cooperation with Chief Accountant to ensure the compliance of sub-grantees’ financial and accounting activities with local legislation, donor and TIAC requirements;
  • Prior approval of sub-grant budget modifications and bidding results in consultancy with the Program Director;
  • Provision of technical assistance and advice to sub-grantees as needed;
  • Serving as liaison between the sub-grantees and TIAC finance team.

Required qualifications:

  • University degree or relevant certified training in finance, economics or related field;
  • Basic knowledge of the relevant Armenian legislation;
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in grants management and administration;
  • Experience working with USAID grants and contracts procedures will be an asset;
  • Experience and skills with budgets monitoring, analysis and reporting;
  • Familiarity with different types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, sub-contracts, etc.;
  • Detail-oriented personality with strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a multitask and stressful environment;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent command of Armenian and English;
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
