Statement on Continued Police Violence

Civil society organizations express deep concern over the continued spread of SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) practices in Armenia.

In an interview with A1+, TIAC lawyer Mihran Bulghadaryan spoke about the problems of the illicit asset confiscation procedure and its political exploitation.

"According to the CSO Meter Regional Report, the civil society environment in the region has reached its lowest point since the first CSO Meter assessment in 2021.

In his interview Mihran Bulkhadaryan, addressed the proposed legislative changes regarding exemption from military service in exchange for money, emphasizing that such approaches must be carefully calculated and fair.
