As Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Executive Director of Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) informed Radio Liberty (RFE/RLs Armenian service), Ethics Commission for High Ranking Officials will decide whether or not to initiate proceedings of TIAC application. In the opinion of Hoktanyan if the Commission finds out that Taron Margaryan and people related to him own (micro)bus routes it will become a serious ground for the Commission to initiate proceedings based on the application and to examine it thoroughly, since it will indicate that the Mayor was an interested party in increasing public transport fare.
