Transparency International Anti-corruption Center (TIAC) hosted seminars "Protect your right to live in a healthy environment" on September 6, 8 and 15. The seminar conducted by Lena Nazaryan, TIAC Project Assistant, was designed to raise the participants' awareness on the process of decision making in urban development, citizens' rights and the base of those rights. They were also informed on the state structures and constructors' obligations, the liability they were due to take on, the measures the citizens take, as well as the required contacts.

Sona Ayvazyan, Project Director and Heriknaz Tigranyan, Lawyer of Promoting the Human Right to Live in a Healthy Environment Project, assisted by USAID and Counterpart International, along with Lena Nazaryan answered the participants' questions. The next seminar will be held on September 20, 2011.
