Within the framework of the “Akanates” Observation mission, a training of trainers for short-term observers was conducted, aimed at ensuring effective and high-quality observation of upcoming electoral processes across the country.

The training included both theoretical and practical components. The trainers were thoroughly introduced to the key stages of the electoral process, including:

  • the electoral system and the functioning of election commissions,
  • working with voter lists,
  • the rights, responsibilities, and code of conduct of observers,
  • the organization of Election Day, from preparation to the tabulation of results,
  • procedures for completing protocols and collecting required documentation,
  • mechanisms for filing complaints and challenging election results,
  • the importance of evidence collection.

During May, the trained trainers will conduct trainings for short-term observers in all regions of Armenia.

Equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools, “Akanates” observers will monitor polling stations, contributing to the transparency and credibility of the elections.
