We said goodbye to the 22 participants of our 12th Anticorruption School, who represented various state bodies and are ready to apply the new knowledge and skills gained during the program in their work to strengthen anti-corruption processes from within.

The six-day course brought together leading young professionals to discuss key manifestations of corruption in the areas of the state budget, the tax system, and public procurement, political corruption, as well as the role of investigative journalism in the fight against corruption. International best practices and failures in designing anticorruption policies were also examined.

The final day was conducted in the format of the interactive game “Korrumpastan,” during which participants developed legislative amendment proposals, an anticorruption agency model, awareness campaigns, and various avenues for civil society engagement-shaping a comprehensive anticorruption strategy.

The 12th Anticorruption School was implemented with the support of the Government of Sweden.
