Training for Students of the Armenian State Pedagogical University
On April 10, within the framework of the educational program of Transparency International Anticorruption Center, a training was organized for students of the Faculty of Primary Education at the Armenian State Pedagogical University on the topic: “What is corruption and how to talk about it in elementary school?”
The training was initiated by the faculty and was attended by around 30 students. The discussion focused on the nature of corruption, its causes, and consequences. The aim of the training was to introduce future educators to ways of fostering anti-corruption thinking at the level of primary education.
Participants were introduced to methodological approaches that can help integrate this complex topic into classroom activities in an age-appropriate manner for children.
The training combined theoretical knowledge with practical discussions, contributing to the development of students’ critical thinking and social responsibility skills.
