For the second time, the three-day course "Political parties and Finances in Armenia" is taking place in Tsaghkadzor. Issues related to transparency and accountability of political party funding are on the agenda of this comprehensive course. Forty representatives from political parties, non-governmental organizations, and mass media are actively participating in this training initiative.

Our trainers present the participants with the challenges of party systems, the financing mechanisms of parties worldwide, and specifically in Armenia, as well as the manifestations of abuse of administrative resources in the context of campaign financing, and the work of authorized bodies in this field. Discussions are followed by group work.
With this training we aim to promote transparency and accountability in political financing, thereby contributing to the integrity of democratic processes.

This initiative is part of the Supporting Safeguards Democracy in Armenia (SSDA) project funded by UK International Development from the UK Government and implemented by IFES.
