Opportunities for Public Participation at the Local Self Government Level
Education is a non stop process at TIAC. This time to promote the participation level of young people in Armavir and Gegharkunik marzes, TIAC organized a course on the topic of public participation at the local self-government level. The agenda of the three-day course included the local self-government system and legislation, opportunities and mechanisms for participation in decision-making and policy-making processes at the community level, as well as opportunities for community economic development.
The purpose of the training is to improve the knowledge of the youth about the activities of the community and community authorities, which will be used for the purpose of highlighting development problems in the communities and developing recommendations for solutions. Next, it is planned to start research projects in the marzes of Armavir and Gegharkunik.
