On December 8, 2015 The European Platform for Democratic Elections (EPDE) in cooperation with the members of the “Citizen Observer” Initiative held experts’ discussion on the political and electoral implications of the constitutional amendments after the December 6, 2015 Referendum. During the discussion Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Executive Director of Transparency International Anticorruption Center and Artur Sakunts, Chairman of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office presented the results of the statistical analysis of the officially announced results and the statistical evidence of electoral fraud.

Other speaker of the Experts’ Discussion Tigran Egoyan, lawyer, advocate of Europe in Law Association presented the analysis of the election violations and potential changes of the electoral law. Roman Udot, EPDE expert, Movement Golos, Russia and Adam Busuleanu, EPDE expert presented an overview of the work of international election observation missions in Armenia. Lene Wetteland, EPDE expert, Norwegian Helsinki Committee reported on the cooperation between domestic and international citizens observers in the EU, EaP countries and Russia.
