By June 2015 the Armenian government should respond to nearly180 recommendations received by Armenia within the scope of the UN Universal Periodic Review (UPR). They refer to the most different spheres of human rights: justice, electoral right, children and women rights, right to freedom of speech, etc. Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) was among the CSOs that developed UPR alternative report. In that regard Hetq online took an interview from Sona Ayvazyan, TIAC Deputy Director regarding one of those recommendations on administration and holding electoral processes in Armenia in general and on publication of voter lists after an election.

According to Sona Ayvazyan there were numerous recommendations on elections but there was, for instance, a specific recommendation by Czech Republic to publish voter lists after election. Publishing voter lists aims to mitigate against multiple voting and ballot stuffing, etc. and to provide civil society oversight of the process.
