Improving Integrity of the Armenian Defence Sector

The aim of this project is to contribute to anticorruption reform in the Armenian defence sector, to assist national civil society organizations in contributing to anti-corruption reforms, and to provide expertise and experience that can enhance the work of other actors. The project objectives will be achieved through two activities: improving oversight of the defence sector through building the capacity of the Parliamentary Defence and Security Committee and engaging MOD, National Security Council, and armed forces stakeholders; research and advocacy work related to defence procurement in Armenia.

Governments are better able to identify and mitigate corruption risks in their defence and security institutions.
