Partnership for Open Society Initiative presented the Civil Society Assessment of Government Decision on European Neighborhood Policy Action Plan Implementation Tools for 2007 on November 8 in Marriott Armenia Hotel. CRD/TI chairwoman Amalia Kostanyan reflected on fight against corruption, while other speakers focused on local self government, improving transparency of RA judiciary, ensuring the independence of the media, human rights and fundamental freedoms and formation of information society.

A number of civil society organizations united in the Partnership for Open Society Initiative expressed their opinion on the matter of Armenia's recent joining a number of CIS countries in requesting changes in OSCE election observation procedures. They considered it as yet another retreat from democracy and further isolation of the country from European integration.
