On June 1, 2007 the Constitutional Court hearing series on opposition appeals against the official results of the May 12 parliamentary elections began. Three applicant political parties, namely Hanrapetutyun, New Times, and Country of Law (OEK), and one bloc, Impeachment, applied to the Constitutional Court alleging large-scale fraud. Among other arguments to be heard during the court sessions, Hanrapetutyun party and Impeachment bloc submitted preliminary findings of CRD/TI Armenia NGO's pre-election monitoring.

Hanrapetutyun, New Times, and Impeachment are demanding that the court invalidate the official figures and order a rerun of voting held under the system of proportional representation while OEK is seeking recounting of ballots in polling stations across the republic. Taking into account a 15-day timeline and deadline of June 10, applications are being consolidated into one case.
