As an observer to admission committee Vakhtang Siradeghyan, representative of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center (TIAC) participated in entrance examinations to Police College at Police Academy of Armenia. The examination held on October 3-4, 2011 comprised computerized test to check general level of the applicants' knowledge and personal skills, and the peculiarities of their social behavior, while the physical readiness test conducted on October 6-7 intended to determine their physical fitness.

TIAC representative also observes the admission committee work of entrance examinations to Police Training Center at Police Academy of Armenia on November 1-2 and November 7-10, 2011. Inclusion of NGOs in educational institutions of the Armenian Police is carried out within the framework of OSCE-supported Police Reform Program in cooperation of the Armenian Police and OSCE Office in Yerevan.

This procedure of examination is called to exclude interference of human factor in the examination process, intended to reduce corruption risks, ensure objectivity and transparency, and to become a serious incentive in preparation of professional high-qualified police personnel.
