On November 19-21, TIAC conducted the second part of its training series on Enhanced Accountability in the Field of Education. The training focused on providing participants with knowledge and a toolkit to meaningfully engage and conduct public oversight over public institutions and duty bearers in the field of education. The topics covered freedom of information and specific mechanisms for public participation including tools for monitoring and advocacy.

The training featured interactive discussions and share of experiences among participants who gained practical skills and knowledge to conduct participatory monitoring and advocacy in the field․

Following the completion of the training series, and with support of TIAC, participants will also have the opportunity to conduct small monitoring projects to apply gained skills and knowledge first-hand to reveal problems and provide solutions, focusing on school-level policy implementation and oversight mechanisms.

This training was held with financial support from the European Union under the Strengthening Accountability Networks among Civil Society (SANCUS) project.
