On January 23-24, 2020, a conference on "Anticorruption Academic Program: Model for the Region" was held in Kyiv. It was organized by Anti-Corruption Research and Education Center (ACREC) with the support of Open Society Foundations and the International Renaissance Foundation.

The event gathered over twenty participants of the anticorruption community from prominent universities and civil society organizations of Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, including Sona Ayvazyan, Executive Director and Armen Khudaverdyan, Expert of Transparency International Anticorruption Center and representatives from Public Administration Academy of the RA and American University of Armenia. They shared Armenia’s experience, lessons learnt, challenges and success stories of anticorruption academic program. They also took part in brain storming and panel discussions.

As a result of the conference, the participants agreed to sign a Resolution on cooperation and start working closely on the implementation of anticorruption education programs in the region. In the long term, it is expected to create a full-fledged network for the development of anticorruption academic training programs in post-Soviet countries.
