From March 26 to 28, 2010, Amalia Kostanyan, Chairwoman of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center attended 5th Brussels Forum, an annual high-level meeting of the most influential North American and European political, corporate, and intellectual leaders to address pressing challenges currently facing both sides of the Atlantic. The event helps shape a new transatlantic agenda that can adapt to changing global realities and new threats.

The Brussels Forum agenda included discussion sessions on broad themes, from the global financial crisis to climate change. After the opening address of the Prime Minister of Belgium European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso delivered keynote address. Among numerous other issues the speakers reflected on transatlantic relationship in a multipolar world; efforts to promote strong, sustainable and balanced growth; building a security architecture in Europe; NATO's future in unpredictable and globalizing world, global economic governance.
