Observers of the Citizen Observer Initiative have registered overall 365 cases of violations between 12:00 to 16:00, that are in the process of being verified.

In particular, the following violations have been registered:

52 cases with open voting (voter casts ballot outside of the allocated voting booth, reveals vote to a third party, photographing ballot)

36 cases of unauthorised accompaniment of voters,

31 cases of directing and influencing voters,

25 cases of controlling votes, including cases where more than one person enters a voting booth, with exceptions to helping voters with special needs,

23 cases of unauthorised movement of ballot papers in/out of precincts,

19 cases of attempt to double voting,

18 cases of absence of voter names in registration machines,

16 cases of unauthorised persons assisting voters to vote,

14 cases where the names of assisting individual’s are not registered in the log,

12 cases of violations of lottery allocations, where the shifting roles of members of the precinct commission do not meet the rules,

8 cases of mismatching of ID information in correlation with electronic device,

8 cases of other persons’ signatures in front of the voters’ names,

8 cases where the same individual has assisted more than one voter,

7 cases of attempt of registration and/or registration with other person’s ID,

7 cases of deprivation of voting rights (with the exception of not presenting the registration receipt),

4 cases of attempt to sign and/or signing instead of other person,

77 cases of other violations (enticement by political parties/alliances or on behalf of a candidate, etc).

More detailed information about violations will be presented at the Press Conference to be held at 22:00, which will take place at Marriott Armenia Hotel, Ararat Hall.

The Initiative’s observers have registered 169 violations in the precinct logs, consisting of pre-vote preparation, voting period, and general irregularities, violations, or issues.

The Initiative’s violations map includes entries from the Citizen Observer Initiative, Independent Observer Public Coalition, and the Armenia Helsinki Committee observation missions.
