Convened on 18-19 November 2010, in Berlin, Sona Ayvazyan, Chair of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center was among the delegates of the civil society sector from the EU's six eastern neighbors and EU member states, who participated in the second Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. By strengthening civil society, the Forum helped strengthen democracy, as well as broaden dialogue and cooperation between civil society and governments in the six neighboring countries.

The forum was held within four working groups, i.e. Democracy, good governance, stability, border management; Economic integration, convergence with EU policies; Energy, climate change, environment and Contacts between people.

Information was exchanged about civil society organizations' activities, possible ways and spheres of cooperation were identified, creation of cross national thematic networks were considered, as well as concrete recommendations were worked out during the event.

Sub Working Groups meetings examined the following issues: public administration reform, visa liberalization, economic integration, convergence with EU policies, independent media, judiciary reform, energy and environment, education and youth development, fight against corruption, human rights, eastern partnership monitoring, think tank cooperation, Eastern Partnership civil society forum strategic thinking, and small medium enterprises.
