Transparency International Anti-corruption Center in cooperation with Transparency International Romania organized a 10-member Armenian delegation's study tour to Romania between March 1 and 7, 2010. Organized within the framework of the British Conflict of Interest Project, the aim of the visit was to get acquainted with Romania's experience with conflict of interest, with regulation and presentation of asset and income declarations, and to meet with stakeholders and state officials interested in codes of ethics and anti-corruption issues.

The Chair of the Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation Monitoring Commission who is the Assistant to the President of Armenia, along with the Government, the Ministry of Justice, NGO representatives and journalists were among the members of the delegation.

The delegation visited TI Romania offices, the Centre for Legal Resources, the Romanian Parliament, the General Anticorruption Department within the Ministry of Administration and Interior, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the National Anticorruption Directorate within the Prosecutor Office, and also met with representatives of the National Integrity Council, and journalists. The journalists in the delegation Margarit Yesayan and Grisha Balasanyan published a series of articles on their visit and conflict of interest issues in "Aravot" daily newspaper, "Hetq" online and "Hetq" weekly newspaper respectively.
