Last year, TIAC appealed to the court, demanding that the actions of the staff of the RA National Assembly, which denied the participation of a TIAC observer in the interview stage of the competition to fill the vacant position of a member of the Corruption Prevention Committee, be recognized as illegal.

In its claim, TIAC asserted that its fundamental rights to seek and receive information, as guaranteed by the RA Constitution, were violated by the refusal. It argued that its right to conduct an observation mission for the competition was unjustly restricted.
