Amalia Kostanyan, Chairwoman of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center (TIAC) was a speaker during a discussion on Implementation of European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) and Eastern Partnership Programs in Armenia on July 3, 2009. It was organized by Partnership for Open Society Initiative within the framework of a series of events titled "From Neighborhood to Partnership," initiated by Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation - Armenia, Eurasia Foundation, Yerevan Press Club, International Center for Human Development, European Integration NGO and TIAC.

During the event Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger, the Head of European Commission Delegation to Armenia presented the Progress Report of ENP implementation for 2008, while Lithuanian Ambassador Giedrius Apuokas spoke about the European integration process in the context of Eastern Partnership Program. Among discussants were Ruben Sarukhanyan, the Head of Project Administration Agency, Ministry of Economy of Armenia; Varos Simonyan, the Head of Department of European Union (EU) and International Economic Affaires, Ministry of Economy of Armenia; Lusine Movsisyan, First Secretary of the Department of European Union, Ministry of Foreign Affaires of Armenia, etc.

Government officials, Ambassadors of EU countries to Armenia, representatives of international organizations, civil society and media have been invited to attend the event.
