The "Journalists Against Corruption" training held in Yerevan on June 10-11 exposed the knowledge and tools required in the fight against corruption in the media community. The event, organized by TIAC, marks the second time such a course has been held in a while, and highlights the passion and motivation of journalism students and professionals to tackle corruption head-on.

The journalists had a busy weekend, engaging in a two-day course that offered a comprehensive agenda focused on corruption and its far-reaching effects. The course covered various aspects, including the causes, risks, and consequences of corruption, as well as the importance of integrity among public officials. Furthermore, participants gained insights into topics such as the declaration of property, income, interests, and expenses, the intricacies of the public procurement system, and the misuse of administrative resources.

A key highlight of the course was the emphasis on investigative journalism. Participants had the invaluable opportunity to learn directly from leading investigative journalists, benefiting from their expertise and experiences in uncovering corruption. This not only enhanced their knowledge but also fostered a dynamic learning environment.

At TIAC, our educational courses are designed to be continuous, focusing on developing new abilities and skills for covering corruption.
