In line with its mission to promote anti-corruption education, TIAC organized the "Journalists, against Corruption!" course in Dilijan from May 5 to May 7. The program garnered significant interest among journalists, with over 130 applicants vying for participation.

The training attracted young journalists from various media outlets in Yerevan and different regions, all eager to delve into the topics of combating and reporting on corruption.

The three-day course had the objective to equip journalists with a comprehensive understanding of corruption and its ramifications and to familiarize them with the causes, risks, and consequences of corruption, as well as the integrity of public officials. The curriculum covered essential subjects such as the declaration of property, income, interests, and expenses by public officials, party financing, and the misuse of administrative resources.

Moreover, the participants had the valuable opportunity to learn from renowned investigative journalists in the field, benefiting from their experiences in exposing corruption.

Upon completing the program, the journalists will produce publications related to anti-corruption policies, the activities of anti-corruption bodies, corruption prevention, anti-corruption education and awareness, corruption crimes, and other relevant topics. A prize will be awarded to the author of the best article.

TIAC's educational courses are an ongoing initiative aimed at fostering the development of new abilities and skills in reporting corruption.
