Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Executive Director and Khachik Harutyunyan, Expert of Transparency International Anticorruption Center attended the presentation of the National Integrity System regional report within the framework of the EU-funded "National Integrity System Assessment in the European Neighborhood East region” project held on July 1-2, 2015 in Brussels. The event brought together representatives of Transparency International Secretariat and national chapters of TI to present NIS regional report entitled “The State of Corruption: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine,” as well as to get introduced and practice the tool for Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning to measure progress and success of the project.

During the event they addressed a number of issues, including key messages and priorities, their concrete suggestions to the EU as to help in addressing the main weaknesses resulted from the NIS. They also discussed further steps, such as how to make the results of the NIS project sustainable beyond the research phase and how to measure progress and success of the project.
