A workshop for CSOs was held on June 2, 2015 within the framework of USAID supported "Engaged Citizenry for Responsible Governance" project. The event brought together representatives of 25 CSOs. The objectives of the workshop were to highlight the principles and standards of enabling environment for CSOs; to discuss good practices and challenges on CSO regulation in Armenia; to share comparative practices on monitoring and assessment tools for measuring CSO legal environment; to discuss what would be the appropriate monitoring tool for Armenian CSOs. The workshop was organized by Civic Development and Partnership Foundation (CDPF) and European Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ECNL) and was conducted by Eszter Markus, Managing Director and Eszter Hartay, Legal Advisor of ECNL.

Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) Public Organization in a consortium with Investigative Journalists NGO, Journalists’ Club “Asparez”, Civic Development and Partnership Foundation (CDPF), Basel Institute on Governance (BIG, Switzerland) and the European Center for Non-for-profit Law (ECNL, Hungary) implements USAID supported “Engaged citizenry for responsible governance” Project. The goal of the Project is to increase civic engagement in and oversight of reforms aimed at improving transparency and accountability of government actions and policies.
