Radio Liberty’s "The Crossroads of Views" program addressed change of the current tariff for electricity. On May 8 Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC submitted a bid to Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to raise the current tariff for electricity sold to consumers by 17 AMD. PSRC has 60 days to study the bids, i.e. the process should come to an end before early July. Review of the tariffs, including consumers’ nonpayment if ENA was to blame and other issues were discussed by the program guests economist Artak Manukyan and member of Civil Contract Political Organization Arayik Harutyunyan.

Artak Manukyan substantiated the allegation of ENA’s bad government. The grounding of any expenses should be respectively documented and based on situation in market economy.
