Public discussion on the draft Law of the Republic of Armenia on Public Organizations was organized and held in Yerevan on April 8, 2015 within the framework of EU funded Support to Democratic Governance in Armenia project, implemented by the British Council in cooperation with its implementing partners CDPF, Grant Thornton and Thomson Foundation. Sona Ayvazyan, Deputy Director of Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) took part in the discussion and presented TIAC comments on the draft law. Meanwhile Sona Ayvazyan presented comments on the draft law by the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law ((ECNL, Hungary), which is TIAC’s partner within the framework of USAID funded “Promoting Transparency and Accountability through Advanced Civil Society Participation” (short name “Engaged Citizenry for Responsible Governance”) project.
