Bribe-takers should be punished

An illegal construction may be turned to a legal one for 1,000 USD for Yerevan’s Shengavit administrative district employee Hamlet Hovsepyan. He solicited such an amount from Samvel Gabrielyan, the owner of house 50 at Gharibjanyan Street who was a a former employee of RA internal affairs and veteran of WW II (Great Patriotic War) and Karakakh war and second-category invalid, when the owner of the house attempted to repair his house, especially when one of the rooms was ruined in a course of time. Failing to reach agreement, H. Hovsepyan half reduced the solicited money but again failed to come to agreement. As a punishment he invited police officers and a worker who began to destroy the repaired parts. S. Gabrielyan attempted to find justice by sending a letter to Yerevan mayor.
