Votes in favor of Republican Party of Armenia were missing Mkhitar Varagyan, Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) nominated candidate by majority vote in No. 36 electoral district of Artic community, Shirak province, requested to recount the votes, afterward the process of recounting was stopped. He requested to recount votes in 12 precincts out of 55 and he found out that the number of votes cast in favor of him and HHK in the very first precinct (36/6) were missing. The chairman of the electoral precinct stated that the decision of the chairman of electoral district to recount the votes was anticonstitutional and the process should be stopped. The Central Electoral Commission also asserted that the decision of the chairman of electoral district is anticonstitutional and the newly started process was stopped.
