Sisian residents were imposed to "vote" Office employees of Sisian, Syunik province were brought together on May 6 in a particular venue on a special hour by directors of offices to be taken to electoral precincts. It was done for all the employees to unanimously vote for the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and the candidate it offered on majority vote. Those who refused were threatened to be fired, thus "expressing own free will," reported the newspaper. In small precincts of Vardadzor community, Gegharkunik province, they artificially created embarrassed situation to commit electoral violation. All the residents of Dimitrov village, Ararat province, chiefly populated by Assyrians, are either disabled or did not know the Armenian alphabet, since they entered polling booths to vote with families. The village mayor Arman Ionanov indirectly guided his fellow villagers. A voter in No. 12/12 polling station of Yerevan Noragavit district naively asked what side he should go to vote for HHK. The mayors of Martiros and other villages, Vayots Dzor, acted as proxies to be able to guide their fellow villagers freely. The soldiers of the defense army of Nagorno Karabakh voted in No. 37 and 38 electoral districts of Syunik province with red pens.
