The State Customs Committee continues...

The State Customs Committee continues the chain of actions intended to lead the businessman, parliamentarian Kh. Sukiasyan's enterprises to bankruptcy. The committee did not release the next consignment of cigarettes imported by Pares Armenia Company belonging to Kh. Sukiasyan, allegedly implying that the message on cigarette pack may be implied as tobacco advertising, offering an incentive for people to smoke. Based on the Republic of Armenia Law on Restriction of the Tobacco Realization, Consumption and Use, the cigarette pack was sent for expertise to clarify if the message on the pack implied tobacco advertising or was an element of brand. Similar message may be found on other, Davidoff cigarette pack, which does not excite anyone since the cigarette importer was not the loyalist of L. Ter-Petrosyan. The same day's "Hraparak" newspaper reported that the PM's son-in law M. Minasyan was also an importer of cigarettes and as a result of the developments the useful and the pleasant might be combined.
