Participatory monitoring for quality utility services in Gyumri

Description: The project goal is to support improvement and transparency of the garbage cleaning and street lighting work in Gyumri, carried out by local government bodies, through participatory monitoring and identification of the existing issues and applying alternative solution by the citizens and civil society organizations.
Results: As a result of the project there will be monitoring groups who will monitor the garbage collection and street lighting spheres in all districts of Gyumri, availability of comprehensive research on the above mentioned spheres with participation of CSOs, citizens and local government bodies, recommendation package developed by different stakeholders with development and improvement suggestions, local government will adopt and use the suggestions, public awareness will be raised regarding the above mentioned spheres, contribution to the development of demanding and informed civil society.
