A large turnout of young students welcomed the third in series of meetings within the framework of a UNDP project on "Strengthening Awareness and Response in Exposure of Corruption in Armenia." The discussion on the perception of corruption in Armenia, held on April 19 at Yerevan State University, brought together students majoring in International Relations, Economics, Journalism, Romance-Germanic Philology, Geography, Radiophysics, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Guest speaker Amalia Kostanyan, CRD/TI Armenia Chairwoman, presented the 2006 survey findings on corruption perception and provoked an enthusiastic dialogue among the concerned students on issues of bribery, favoritism, electoral fraud, and possible methods that can be taken to lessen corruption.
