On March 3, 2020, an awareness raising workshop was held in Yerevan on integrity systems and corruption prevention within the framework of EU/CoE Partnership for Good Governance II, “Strengthening institutional capacities to fight and prevent corruption in Armenia” Project. The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Corruption Prevention Commission, Deputy Prime Minister's Office, Public Administration Academy, Civil Service Bureau of Prime Minister's Office and non-governmental organisations including Armen Khudaverdyan, TIAC Expert to discuss the current situation with anticorruption training of public servants, identify the existing gaps and make recommendations on the possible elements of training content.

The aim of the workshop was to talk over the training project on strengthening integrity in the public service and enhancing anticorruption knowledge management, as well as develop the contents of the manual with the key stakeholders.

The event addressed the assets of public servants, their knowledge on corruption and fighting it, and the time to be allocated for trainings. The workshop highlighted the importance of establishing a regular anticorruption training for public servants. Based on the discussions and proposals received at the workshop, the project will develop and provide the beneficiary institutions with a common set of training materials to ensure a consistent and sustainable anticorruption training of public servants in Armenia.
