Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Executive Director of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center made a presentation on "Evaluation of the Internal Governance System of the Armenian Private Sector Using National Integrity System Methodology" during a session on "The Role of Enterprises and State in Promoting Corporate Integrity: What Can Government and Business Do?" of an anti-corruption forum, held on March 24, 2010. "Towards Stronger Corporate Integrity" forum was organized by the USAID Mobilizing Action Against Corruption (MAAC) Activity, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the USAID Competitive Armenian Private Sector Project, Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, and Union of Information Technology Enterprises.

The forum highlighted the most promising tools to tackle corruption in business and outlined how international companies, investors, and consumer organizations can contribute to corporate integrity and meet the challenges that corruption, including bribery and policy capture, corporate fraud, cartels and corruption in supply chain and transnational transactions, pose to sustainable economic growth and development.

The forum brought together more than 200 representatives from Armenian and foreign enterprises, international banks and trade agencies, government and civil society.
