Teghut Defense Group held a two-hour protest action in front of the government building. Dozens of protesters with numerous posters required the Armenian government to review the decisions on the operation for the Teghut copper-molybdenum mine. The participants in the action articulated "Green and Clean Armenia!", "Hands off Teghut!" and other slogans.

An Armenian government staff employee received action representatives Sona Ayvazyan and Arman Vermishyan. Dozens of policemen were following the action. Protest action of Buzand Street residents evicted from their houses was held there and then.

The demonstrators later marched to the third building of the government where the Ministry of Nature Protection is situated. They articulated the same slogans there. The action there lasted only a quarter of an hour.

Representatives of non governmental organizations of Environmental Public Alliance, individual citizens and the Armenian parliamentarian Z. Postanjyan with her five-year-old daughter participated in Teghut Defense Action.
