On April 30, 2008, together with Armenian environmentalists and other concerned organizations of civil society, TIAC took part in an action of protest against exploiting Teghut mine by ACP Company in front of the National Assembly of Armenia where at that time there was a combined question and answer session of government and parliament. In an anti-corruption T-shirts and slogans, the protesters demanded stopping the mine exploitation and conducting independent expertise by involving international environmental experts.

Parliamentarian Zaruhi Postanjyan presented the demands of the demonstrators to the Armenian government. Aram Harutyunyan, minister of Nature Protection and executive director Gagik Arzumanyan of ACP Company approached the protesters and answered their questions.
