"My Question to Future President"

Description: The purpose of the project is to use the 2008 Presidential Elections to promote political thinking and participation among young generation in Armenia by organizing first ever TV shows with high school students from Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and Goris and presidential candidates. The students will be given an opportunity to ask one question to a "Future President."

Outcomes: Promotion of democratic values on the threshold of the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia; getting youth involved in participation processes and starting a tradition of speaking to people; helping the public understand the basic elements of free and fair elections; enriching TV political programming; introducing an innovative and unprecedented campaign element to candidates
